IT Service Manager for K-Group

In this Service Managerial role you will be offering various data communication services to K-Group store network. Your duties include coordinating and executing day-to-day service management activities in a large scale network environment. These activities include for example change management of ongoing data communication services, providing network services (WAN, LAN, WLAN) for new stores, cost control and vendor management. You will also participate or lead development projects when needed.

Practically your role is to operate between our outsourcing partners and Kesko IT and Kesko business units. You will be a key player of delivering Kesko business needs to our vendors and other internal and external stakeholders.

You have good understanding of network services in modern WAN (MPLS), LAN and WLAN areas meaning technical knowledge and ITIL like service delivery practicalities. You do not have to write configurations yourself but you can discuss topics like xDLS technologies, MPLS, WLC, Routing, VRF’s, VLAN tagging etc. comfortably with technical IT Specialists. You are also familiar with ITIL concepts and terminology.

We appreciate highly your positive mind-set, can do attitude, good communication and team working skills. You have the capability to take care of details and also to see the big picture to ensure excellent services to our business customers

You already have some experience (at least 5+ years) in IT work in similar roles. For example as a service manager, network architect, consultant etc. It doesn’t really matter whether you have worked in large corporations or in small to midsize companies. We see diversity as a positive thing in this team. Most important thing is that you should have the will to succeed in service manager role.

You have at least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and abovementioned work experience. ITIL and service or project management certifications are appreciated. You communicate fluently in Finnish and English.
